He described finding numerous bullet wounds on the deceased, identified as Imam Hasan Taim, who was the son of SI Moinul Hossain. Taim was brought to the Rajarbagh Jame Mosque after the July movement, and during the process of preparing the body for burial, extensive gunshot injuries were observed. The witness and others present suspected the bullets were fired from a shotgun. The witness also noted Taim’s shirt was unbuttoned, and his pants were cut from the thigh. The testimony detailed the discovery of Taim’s body at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue, where other bodies were also present. SI Delwar Hossain, another witness, corroborated the details of the body’s condition and the presence of gunshot wounds, including what appeared to be pistol bullet marks below the waist. Police Inspector Nizam Uddin also testified regarding the preparation of the post-mortem report.
